An innocent child is killed because the mother is not prepared for a baby at that time in her life. Is it right for her to terminate her pregnancy because she doesnt want to raise a child? Abortion should be banned because too many babies are being killed from abortion, baby’s have been reported to survive abortions, and if you dont want a child or you don’t feel you could raise it you could always put it up for adoption. Some people believe that when an abortion is performed that the baby is not developed, or as some say, â€Å"a bunch of cells†, but the truth is that before a women even knows she is pregnant, about four days missed cycle, that a baby already has a beating heart at 18 days. Also at 18 days their brain starts developing.†¦show more content†¦In the case of Sarah Smith her mother had gone to have an abortion, and not knowing that she was pregnant with twins thought the abortions was successful. Only to find out later that her twin brother was aborted but she was lucky enough to survive. The abortionist missed her, and she went on to survive and she was born with bilateral, congenital dislocated hips and many other physical handicaps which to this day have been maintained and taken car of. She now speaks of her ordeal and is completely pro-life. On April 24, 1996, Sarah spoke at the international Congress for Life in Rome where she went on to tell her story to others, an d spreading the awareness of the affects of abortion. Another story of survival is that of Heidi Huffman who was born to her mother via C-section months after her mother had tried to have an abortion. The abortionist took most of the amniotic fluid as well as the placenta but miraculously missed Heidi. Heidi has since started to go to rally’s, and telling others about her survival story.
